THE MYSTERY AT SEA by Michèle

It was a fresh and crisp morning in Amsterdam. The passengers on the boat were waving good-bye to their families and friends. A professional detective on the boat had seen a very short woman with a big hat covering her face using sign language to communicate with a person on the dock. He wondered if she was really deaf, or if she was using it as a means of communication that people wouldn’t overhear. The detective was tall, had light brown hair, piercing green eyes, and was named George. He himself had learned the language of the deaf.
